Here is the secret: we use a halogen-filled quartz envelope that pushes the filament to some seriously extreme temperatures. The nitty-gritty on the hardware
We didn’t want you to have to rewire your entire shop just to upgrade your lamps. These are drop-in replacements. We match your existing wattage and voltage exactly so you don’t blow a fuse or overload your power supply. We also use high-purity quartz. Why? Because when things get this hot, cheap glass warps. Ours doesn’t. And then there are the connectors—usually R7s or SK15. We’re obsessive about the fit here. A loose connection means arcing, and arcing means your lamp burns out way too soon. A couple of things to watch out for
Now, there’s a trade-off. When you pack this much energy into a small tube, things get hot. Really hot. That means you have to keep your reflector housings spotless. If they get pitted or covered in grime, you lose efficiency and you risk cooking the ends of the lamps. Keep them clean, keep them aligned, and they’ll last. One more thing: keep an eye on your conveyor speed. Because these lamps ramp up so aggressively, they don’t play well with slow belts. If your line crawls, you’ll end up scorching the surface of the rubber before the core is even cured. Just find that sweet spot between your belt speed and the lamp output, and you’ll stop wasting material.
