You aren&amp;rsquo;t battling raw, stubborn hardness anymore. The mechanical load on the blade drops significantly, which means no more chipping or premature burnout. That means the housing gets hot—really hot. You can&amp;rsquo;t cheap out on your cooling. It&amp;rsquo;s all about the balance. Too much heat and the glass starts to slump; too little, and you&amp;rsquo;re right back to destroying your blades.
