We built these infrared heating lamps for one very specific reason: to hit extreme temperatures that get the job done on those tough, fireproof glass coatings. Standard heating elements just can’t cut it here. So we went all-in on a high-density halogen infrared system, designed to deliver the exact kind of heat needed to lock those protective layers onto laminated glass.
What Makes It Tick
It all comes down to power. These lamps run at 400V, pushing the kind of energy that generates serious heat for deep curing. And the 300mm tube? It packs all that heat into a small footprint. That means you can slip it into tight spots in your machine without having to overhaul the whole line. That high-wattage density is exactly what gives you the temperature needed to fully set those specialty coatings—not just dry the surface.
Built to Last
The lamp body uses a quartz envelope, which can handle the shock of those rapid heating cycles without blinking. Inside, the halogen element delivers a steady, high-intensity output that keeps the temperature consistent across the whole target area. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a tough, standard interface that lets you swap out a lamp in seconds when it’s time—no tools needed. The whole design keeps your line moving with almost no downtime.
On the Floor, Where It Counts
On the shop floor, this setup is a straight-up workhorse. That ultra-high temperature output is exactly what you need to fully cure those dense, heat-hungry fireproof coatings. The heat is concentrated, so the coating cures all the way through to the substrate—no weak spots. Now, the trade-off is heat management. The 400V, high-wattage output means you need a cooling system that’s properly sized to keep the ambient heat in check. But for the engineer who has to hit a specific curing profile, the control and power you get are absolutely worth the extra planning.
