If your wiring is too thin, you’re going to be tripping breakers all morning. A few things to keep in mind Now, these are easy to swap in, but they aren’t bulletproof. Quartz is incredibly picky about cleanliness. A single fingerprint or a smudge of oil can create a “hot spot” on the tube. And a hot spot? That’s a crack waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor and use lint-free gloves when you’re installing them. No exceptions. Also, since these lamps pack a lot of heat into a small space, keep an eye on your cooling fans.
